Milk & Miel

Milk & Miel is a pastry business based in Cuenca, Ecuador, built around the dream of becoming a full-time bakery and eventually a café. The owner came to me with a vision but no brand, no name, no visual identity, no way to show up in the world.

I started with the name. Mixing English and Spanish is a common strategy in Ecuador to signal premium positioning. It carries an aspirational quality that resonates with local consumers. Milk & Miel felt warm, approachable, and a little playful while doing exactly that.

From there I developed the complete brand identity: logo, color palette, typography, packaging, and social media elements. The visual direction was built around her personality, pastel colors, organic shapes, and clean typography. Simple and timeless but with enough energy to stand out in a crowded food space.

Deliverables included full brand identity, packaging design, and social media creative.
